This innovative system operates independently for 2 to 4 hours without an external power source. When the battery voltage drops below 22 volts, it has the ability to seamlessly draw energy from six different sources, whichever is available, to continue operation and recharge its batteries.
The MLT-VAC-40Se is a hybrid air-conditioning system developed specifically for the BMP-3 armoured vehicle. Engineered to maintain cabin temperatures between 22°C and 25°C even when external conditions reach 58°C, the system ensures optimal comfort and operational readiness for the crew. Its compact, rooftop-mounted design integrates seamlessly with the vehicle structure without interfering with core functions or internal space. Designed and tested in accordance with MIL-STD-1472F, MIL-STD-810G, and ASHRAE guidelines, the MLT-VAC-40Se combines military-grade durability with advanced climate control capabilities. It operates autonomously via a low-voltage Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), offering safe and energy-efficient performance in both land and amphibious missions.
